We are a Class1 landfill facility that recycles demolition and construction waste.
What are your opening hours?
Mon – Fri 6:30am – 4:45pm sharp Sat – 7am-12:15pm
Asbestos Mon – Fri 6:30am – 3:30pm Sat – 7am – 11am
I have a big job coming up, can you do a special price for me?
For any large jobs you can ring ahead and speak to the site manager to discuss a price 9439 1300 or better still, send through details of the job and pictures to admin@wastestream.com.au
We are always open to negotiation.
What products do you take?
We are a Class 1 facility therefore can only accept product deemed acceptable within our licence. As a general rule we take waste that does not break down eg concrete, brick, rubble or any waste typically found on a building or demolition site. We also have a licence to take asbestos and some contaminated soil. We can only accept contaminated product if we receive test results and it falls within the necessary specifications.
We do not accept chemicals of any type, pesticides, dangerous/flammable materials, unprocessed tyres or oil etc will not be accepted.
Do I have to wrap the asbestos if its only a small amount?
Yes, you do. All asbestos, no matter how big or small is required to follow the conditions below;
- All packs of asbestos to be double lined or double bagged with heavy duty plastic sheeting of at least .02mm thickness
- No more than 15 sheets per pack
- Each pack to be marked or labelled with the word ‘CAUTION ASBESTOS’ in letters not less than fifty (50) mm high
- Packs to be positioned in the vehicle/truck to allow easy sliding so the packs do not grab the sides, split or break on removal
- It is the responsibility of the driver to remove from the vehicle. WSM do not provide any equipment/assistance in the unloading process
Do you take general household goods/rubbish?
No, we don’t. We are a class 1 – Inert Landfill facility and are governed by The Government of Western Australia Department of Water and Environment Regulations (DWER). Class 1 classifications as per the regulation can be found at his address;
Do you take wood/green waste?
A load containing very minimal green waste can be accepted, however loads containing large stumps and mostly wood/green waste will not be accepted.
Can I get an account?
You sure can. Just send an email to admin@wastestream.com.au and request an account form. Once completed send it back. Once approved you can begin to use the site immediately.
What are the terms of invoice?
Our account options are 14-days from date of invoice. We also do have a 30-day account option. Any account enquiries can be emailed through to admin@wastestream.com.au
What products do you sell?
Recycled fill sand, yellow fill sand, road base, drainage aggregate, crushed aggregate and limestone track material
