Our Services
Disposal of Inert Fill
Waste Stream Management’s landfill site, based in Kwinana, manages the disposal and recycling of inert civil construction and demolition waste products including concrete, timber, bricks, steel, other construction materials and contaminated waste.
Waste Stream Management is also licensed by the Department of the Environment and Conservation for controlling the disposal of asbestos. The process of asbestos disposal and other contaminated waste involves specialised and comprehensive management and compliance protocols.
Waste Stream Management consistently meets compliance requirements to a very high standard.

Recycling of Construction Products
Waste Stream Management is focused on the future and committed to the environment. As such, a primary Company objective is to recycle as much product as possible to minimise the level of waste going to landfill.
The company offers an incentive pricing system for all clean concrete which is then recycled on site for use into road base.
Bricks and tiles are similarly crushed on site for reuse in road base and steel is removed from fill and transferred to a metal recycling plant.

Advisory Services
Waste Stream Management complies with the Green Star Rating system developed by the Green Building Council Australia.
Where contractors are seeking Government contracts, Waste Stream Management can provide assistance in ensuring the disposal process meets Green Star requirements.
Treatment of Acid Sulphate Soils
Waste Stream Management operates stringent management protocols to ensure acid sulphate soils are effectively neutralised and disposed of in a safe manner. If they are not disposed of correctly, they can cause significant negative environmental, ecological and health effects.
These protocols are considered part of the Waste Stream Management’s standard operating procedures concerning safety, environmental stewardship and quality assurance.

Sand and Limestone Mining
Waste Stream Management’s site at Kwinana is home to a limestone quarry, providing limestone base for domestic and commercial construction.

Transfer Station
Waste Stream Management operates a transfer station conveniently located in Welshpool Central Waste at 33 Kew St, Welshpool.
Waste materials can be disposed of at this site for transfer to the Kwinana landfill. The facility provides significant economic benefit to customers by minimising the resources, including cycle times, which would otherwise be required to transport materials directly to Kwinana.
